Rong Chhun, an opposition-appointed member of the National Election Committee, yesterday threatened to resign if Prime Minister Hun Sen’s controversial proposal to amend the law to dissolve parties whose members are convicted of wrongdoing goes ahead. A judge has delivered tentative rulings in a wrongful imprisonment case brought by jailed opposition official Meach Sovannara against the Prime Minister's eldest son Hun Manet in the US.
