Country Beef Soup


Ingredients:

- 400 g beef with fat
- 50 g green papaya
- 50 g potato
- 50 g pumpkin
- 50 g carrot
- 100 g cabbage
- 6 cups water
- 1 table spoon salt

To Cook:

Cube the beef. Cut papaya, potato, pumpkin and carrot into large chunks, and slice the cabbage horizontally. Boil the water in a large pot, then add the beef and salt, and cook in the bubbling water so the flavours are sealed.

Then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Then start adding the vegetables at 5-minute intervals starting with the carrot, and followed by the potato, green papaya, pumpkin and cabbage.

Serve the soup with steamed rice, with salt and pepper on the side.
